September 25 - October 9 2004

Hello, hello, hello! I am back once again, though I am a day late with my entry as I was in Buffalo for two days - I will explain further along in this.

To begin with the Variety Show was not the disaster I anticipated - in fact everyone has carried on about how great it was! The Harrys' act was quite disturbing. They dressed in white robes and tin foil halos and sang a song called "Sweet Little Angels". Everyone was shocked, and the biggest shocker of all was that NOTHING was set on fire or destroyed! Not a single, solitary thing! They marched out in their robes, took their places and sang their song! Booy and Doggie's act also turned out to be quite interesting. They wore their costumes from the convention and had the parts memorized beautifully, though the special effects left a bit to be desired as every time "Dr. freeze" blasted "Captain Teddy" with his freeze gun Doggie just made laser noises and sprayed blue silly string at him! Andy's "Doodle-Doodle-Doo" song mostly made fun of The-Short-One, though there was a vague reference to "mean green" Annie, and there was a horrible verse about pigs and bleach, but no one rushed the stage, so it went all right. Orange Ducky's battle recreation was interesting, as they never bothered to tell which battle it was. There were a lot of cap guns firing, and a few cardboard cannons, and in the end most of the bears involved ended up covered with ketchup, but everyone liked it. Bob's act turned out to be joke telling, which I wish I had known or I would not have put it so near to Cluckers and Clyde. But, he remembered his jokes (Joy wrote them on note cards for him) and only confused two of them, so that was good. Baby Rexy's cracker demonstration involved him sampling several kinds of crackers and then showing us useful things you can do with crackers, such as building edible "Cracker Castles" and of course you can make jewelry out of the one with large enough holes, such as Ritz. I found it to be odd, but as I said everyone thought it and the whole show was fantastic, so who am I to argue with the public?

Ruby is working very hard on her rodeo and has put an appeal in the Newspaper! I object to the phrase "The cats aren't aliens," as everyone clearly knows that they are but I understand she is trying to mislead the bears in an effort to make them sign up. She has gotten two new names bringing the total up to eight. She swears she needs at least ten - maybe she is working with the aliens... Hmmmmmm....

Clownie is sponsoring a Halloween Song Contest this year, and I am hard at work on a song, "...It's the most wonderful time of the year. The leaves are all blowing, the pumpkins are glowing, children filled with fear! It's the most wonderful time of the year..." That's all I have so far, but I think it is pretty good!

As for Buffalo, Bubbles and spent two days there for the-Short-One's Mother's birthday. Incidentally The-Short-One's mother is also Bubbles's Mommy, in case you didn't know. I took a few pictures with my digital camera while we were there and will include them at the end of this. Anyway, we got there Thursday morning, hidden in a box disguised as a present! When it was opened it revealed me and Bubbles holding a big sign that said "Surprise", along with the present I made her (The-Short-One helped some) which was a Sculpy statue of me and Bubbles sitting in grass - it looks very good! The only problem with the box idea was that the aliens would not leave our box alone so we ended up spending Wednesday night in the car in our box so they would not drag us off! Anyway, Bubbles's Mommy was very surprised and she liked the Sculpy statue very much! After she opened her presents Charlie, the-Slobby-Brother-Like-Person and The-Scruffy-Guy set up a tent outside and then left for work. The-Short-One and her Mother spent most of the day talking and drinking tea so Bubbles and I amused ourselves. They talked to us, too, of course, and Bubbles did several clever dances. When the guys got home from work we had dinner and then when it quit raining they went out and lit a fire that they all went ad set around. We wanted to go out too, but The-Short-One was worried we would get wet, so after they were all settled we snuck out and sat under The-Slobby-Brother-Like-Person's pickup truck. We stayed nice and dry, but after all of the people got wet they split up, the guys stayed the night in the tent, The-Short-One and her mother slept in the house and Bubbles and I camped out under the kitchen table (which was quite fun except that the alien Blinky kept bothering us). The next day everyone left and bubbles and I had quite a time. We met the "new" bears - four tiny bears who are living with Bubbles's Mommy. The "new bears" are quite pesky and they climbed me like I was a mountain. I tried to bat them off, but we all ended up falling off the couch in a heap! We also played with the Guinea Piggy, though he is not very entertaining as he mostly sits in one place and stares at you. When The-Short-One and her mother got back we watched "Ride With the Devil" - a very good movie. When everyone was home we FINALLY got the cake and ice cream and then packed up and headed home. We got home quite late which is why I am a day late typing this up! All-in-all it was quite entertaining, though!

Oh! I have added some new things to my Extras Page! There is a new Wallpaper and new Garlands. What are garlands? Well, if you were at the Home Page then you saw my spider garland! They are made for decorating your web pages for the holidays. I figure that since we decorate our houses; why not decorate our web pages too? There are garlands for almost every month of the year! I am also working on some new Pixies, but they take a bit longer as they all seem to take at least 16 frames! Be sure and check out the new stuff, though!

As for Booy's "severed hand" he is going to take it to school this week. I am sure he is going to get in a lot of trouble, but who listens to a smart, intelligent, clever, genius-like pink pig? No one, that is who!

Well, this is quite long and I must go as The-Short-One wants to use the computer - she is leaving tomorrow and will be gone for a week to that place with all of the cats - her dad's house. >(SHUDDER)< I am glad I am NOT going!

Ta-ta,
O

P.S. I have also fixed the Troccas Pack Download. the zip file was too large for me to upload so i had to break it up into two zip files. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but two is better than downloading it all seperatly, right?

This is what the Harys' act really looked like - shocking, I know!
Here is Bubbles and I in our party hats with our sign!
this is the Sculpy statue I made for The-Short-One's mother!
here we are hiding under the pickup truck in the rain - there was a weak fire going but it didn't get in the picture.
The next day we played with the Guinea Piggy.....
...but he was very boring
here I am getting attacked by the "new bears", they are very pesky.
in fact, they were so pesky we ended up falling off the couch (Bubbles was very naughty and laughed at me!).
And here we are watching our movie. I didn't get pictures of the cake because our cheap little camera will only hold so many pictures!
